According to CBP, 3.52 million fentanyl tablets were hidden inside cardboard boxes filled with fresh green beans inside a tractor trailer driven by a 48-year-old man. The contents of the truck were inspected by his K-9 drug detector and the agent found pills. The pill was estimated to be worth $21 million.
About 775 pounds of fentanyl were seized. The driver was detained on drug trafficking charges and handed over to immigration, CBP said.
