ITHACA, N.Y. — Earlier this month, the organization opened its first outpatient behavioral health service, Cayuga Health Psychology, located in the organization’s existing Ithaca Mall location at 40 Catherwood Drive.
A statement sent by Cayuga Health on Tuesday named Dr. Kaitlyn Lilienthal as leading the clinic.
Lilienthal was described in a statement as a “skilled practitioner” with “expertise in anxiety, sleep disorders, autism spectrum disorders and life transitions.” Only therapists are employed This location opened on July 1st.
Lilienthal offers “evidence-based” therapy services to individuals, couples and families, and while his “current focus is on adults,” he said in a statement that he has plans to expand his therapy services to children and teens in the future.
The Cayuga Health facility at Ithaca Mall opened in March, and the facility’s large size allowed the organization’s administrators to consolidate services in one location and provide easier access to patients.
As of July, patients can also receive lab services, including blood testing, at the Ithaca Mall facility, the same location that houses Cayuga Health’s three primary care, cardiology and rheumatology clinics.
