India have already won a three-game series, following wins in Kathak and Kolkata, and are sweeping 2-0.
But New Zealand, the world’s top-ranked ODI team, are touring India later this month, and a 3-0 clean sweep would be good to keep morale high.
India and New Zealand will play 3 ODIs followed by an equal number of T20Is.
