Reports are circulating about that Indian head coach Rahul Dravid After my second ODI with Sri Lanka, I had to return to Bangalore from Kolkata due to health concerns. The news has raised concerns about the former India captain’s health, and Dravid said in his third and final match against Sri Lanka, which will take place at his International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday, Greenfield. It was reported that he would not join the team. However, India’s batting coach Vikram Latour has put all the rumors to rest.

Ahead of the final ODI, Rathour addressed the pre-match press conference.

While answering questions, Rathour revealed that Dravid was “absolutely fine” and is currently working with the team. He added that the 50-year-old could play a few rounds of the cricket ground if needed.

“He’s absolutely fine boss. I don’t know where that news came from. He’s absolutely fine. Do you want him to take a few rounds, do you want to see that? For him You can also do some fitness tests, he’s here (Thiruvananthapuram and India team),” said Rathour.

Also, hours after the press conference, Dravid was photographed overseeing an optional training session in India.

India have already won a three-game series, following wins in Kathak and Kolkata, and are sweeping 2-0.

But New Zealand, the world’s top-ranked ODI team, are touring India later this month, and a 3-0 clean sweep would be good to keep morale high.

India and New Zealand will play 3 ODIs followed by an equal number of T20Is.
