The death of 60-year-old Leah Senen last week was confirmed by Fresno County health officials to be the result of a deadly disease, according to a report.

In mid-October, Senen found the bat in a classroom at Bryant Middle School in Dos Palos and tried to save it, his dear friend Laura Sprott told a television news station.

“I don’t know what caused it, whether she thought it was dead or whether it was lying around the classroom and she tried to scoop it up and take it outside,” Splotch told ABC30. .
