Brands recalled by Stratford Care Inc.

cat and dog maker Omega-3 Supplements Available in Multiple Brands According to a corporate recall issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, it is recalling certain products over concerns that they may have dangerously elevated levels of vitamin A.

According to Florida-based Stratford Care Inc., the voluntary recall was in response to one report of a dog experiencing symptoms of vitamin A poisoning.

“High levels of intake can lead to health problems, depending on the level of vitamin A and the length of exposure,” the company said in its recall. May include nausea, peeling skin, weakness, tremors, convulsions, paralysis, and death.
