About 20% of former Ozempic and Wegovy users regain weight: new study

New research shows that in certain cases, about one in five patients are unable to maintain the weight they lost with the help of drugs.

Of the 17,733 study participants who lost at least 5 pounds on liraglutide before discontinuing use, 55.7% stayed the same weight or continued to lose weight.

An unrelated study also recently revealed that Ozempic may also act as a liver cancer prevention drug in certain diabetics.
