April Valdez is a Nurse Practitioner in Inland Cardiology at Kadlec Regional Medical Center, an area of interest to her after many years of working as a nurse.
“I love cardiology and have been interested since I entered nursing school. It was considered – a cardiac surgery patient.So it really developed my ongoing knowledge base and expertise, and enjoyment of that specialty.”
Valdez has been a nurse for 20 years, 8 of which were an ARNP.
Valdez got her nursing license here in Tri-Cities. She graduated from her College of Columbia Basin with an associate’s degree in Nursing and eventually she earned her master’s degree from WSU her Tri-Cities.
Valdez went a step further and earned a nursing degree from Boston University.
