LINCOLN — Nebraska’s athletic department is adding a new football nutritionist.
Gamecock Central reported Monday afternoon that Kristin Coggin, South Carolina’s director of performance nutrition since 2017, is working as a nutritionist at NU. Sources for the Husker program confirmed the news on Monday night.
Coggin was a staff performance nutrition coordinator in Alabama before working in South Carolina for six years. Coggin graduated in Tennessee with two degrees and was part of her boat team.
In football, he replaced Dave Ellis, who was fired shortly after Nebraska introduced coach Matt Rule. I supervised the whole thing.
Huskers spent $4,122,625 on non-travel groceries in fiscal 2021-22.
