– At last Sunday’s Wrestle Dynasty event at Tokyo Dome, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa to win the RevPro British Women’s Championship. Mercedes Monet recently revealed in her latest issue Monemag Newsletter He said he had a panic attack before the event because he didn’t want to disappoint Mina Shirakawa. Below are the highlights of Mr. Monet’s comments.

Mercedes Mohn on suffering a panic attack before Wrestle Dynasty: “One of the lines that Advocate Kev says to Team Mone during our various trips is, ‘We’re going to make history…again!’ Big matches always make me nervous and flustered, but the match against Mina at Tokyo Dome was somehow different. From the moment I arrived in Japan, from the moment I burst into tears of disbelief and gratitude, to the morning of the competition when I actually had a panic attack, making history was not on my mind. ”

About not wanting to disappoint Mina Shirakawa: “Kev saw my state on the bus and asked, ‘Are you nervous or just excited?'” I said, “Both.” I was really excited because it has been my dream for a long time to play a match of this level at Tokyo Dome. With its rich wrestling history, Japan oddly feels like a second home, just like Mexico. But as happy as I was, I was equally appalled. I didn’t want to disappoint the promoter. I didn’t want to disappoint my fans. I didn’t want to disappoint Mina. I especially didn’t want to let down the women’s wrestlers of today and tomorrow, as always. I want New Japan Pro Wrestling and all promotions around the world to know that our female athletes deserve outstanding recognition and a prominent place on the card. ”

Mercedes Monet’s New Japan Pro Wrestling Strongest Women’s Championship was also included in this match.
