BLACKPINK’s Jenny discusses upcoming world tour, hopes and dreams for Born Pink, and previous mental health issues.
She made these admissions while speaking Elle And it made me vulnerable while dealing with the pressing need to “take better care of” myself during my upcoming tour.
She started by recalling her mental health struggles on In Your Area. She went on her tour of the world, and she said, “I remember when I was on tour at the time. There was a space where I felt like I knew where I was and where I felt stable. I didn’t,” he claimed.
“I was so lost. When I was off work, I didn’t know who I was. When I was at work, I didn’t know who I was. did.”
“So now I always try to take care of myself, check in and see where I am before I go into big projects.”
During the course of our chat, she also mentioned her desire to make the most of every tour and turn them all into “memories of a lifetime.”
“Now we pay attention to details to make it even better from the last tour, because a lot about how we interact with our friends, how we show new songs and how we make this. Instead of just enjoying a day and forgetting about it, take a tour and experience it in a way that people will remember.”
“I want everyone to remember being on a BLACKPINK show,” she added.
“Over the past few years, it’s been very important to me to have close friends and family by my side and balance my work and personal life.”
“Because once you get caught up in one life and you’re out of balance, I think everything starts falling apart. I don’t think any one thing can relieve stress because there’s something going on every moment.” But keeping a positive mind and taking care of my mental health and body is definitely what I do… I meditate, stretch, read, sleep.”
