Dr. Preet Gudimella joined Wakeman’s Fisher-Titus Family Medicine as a primary care physician.
Gudimera is certified in family medicine and is a member of the American College of Family Medicine, according to a news release.
Dr. Brent Barkey, President and CEO of Fisher-Titus, said in a press release: “He brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and a passion for rural health.
A graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine in North Brunswick, New Jersey, Gudimera completed an internship and family medicine residency at the University of Texas at the Rio Grande Valley, the release said.
In addition to medical studies, Gudimera earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and became a software engineer through New York City’s Full-Stack Academy, according to the release.
According to the release, Gudimella encourages patients to follow evidence-based lifestyle practices that include fitness, nutrition, and alternative techniques to prevent and alleviate chronic conditions.
He sees patients of all ages and has an interest in treating both chronic and acute conditions and performing outpatient surgeries.
According to the release, Gudimella said she is excited to be practicing with her twin sister, Dr. Preeti Gudimella, who will join Fisher-Titus Family Medicine – Wakeman in 2021.
They are both part of the Wakeman team, which includes Dr. Christina Canfield and Dr. Samuel E. Roth.
