Woman lists oils she avoids eating at all costs to look ‘natural and healthy’ at 60

Many people fear the physical changes that come with age, but there are many tools available to help you age gracefully.

As she nears 60, Morgan Thicke is often asked how she maintains her natural, healthy glow, and she cites five key factors.


In a recent clip, the content creator detailed her skincare and diet regimen and explained why having a positive attitude is important.

She said: “I’ll be 60 in three months. A lot of people ask me, ‘What are you doing to look beautiful, natural and healthy at 60?’

The most important element, according to Morgen, is exercise, which should be incorporated into your daily life and includes five different modalities.

In other words, variety is key, so make sure you stick to a training program of 30 to 45 minutes per day and repeat this five to seven times a week.

“Also, incorporate some sort of weightlifting,” Morgen adds. “Whether that’s adding weights to your arms or legs during an aerobics class, walking, or even just taking an actual weightlifting class.”

The second golden rule for aging gracefully is to avoid seed oils at all costs, says Morgen.

“They’re very inflammatory and the body doesn’t know what to do with it, which leads to a lot of diseases that age us rapidly,” she explained.

Skin care is just as important, and Morgen advises not using a cleanser on your face every morning — she recommends limiting it to the evening.

“After washing your face at night, apply whatever products you need, including vitamin C, retinol in the winter, an exfoliant and a moisturizer,” she says.

In the morning, Mogen splashes his face with clean, fresh water five or six times.

The fourth tip on Morgen’s list is Controversial This is because you should avoid foundations and tinted moisturizers.

“You want only the good nourishing ingredients in the water,” Morgan explains, adding that she only uses concealer to cover up any imperfections.

“Number five, and probably the most important thing for living a thriving life at any age, is to take responsibility for your joy,” Morgan said.

“Your happiness, fulfillment and joy is your responsibility, not anyone else’s! I wake up every day and choose happiness.”

In a recent conversation with GB News, Gillian McMichael, transformational wellness coach and founder of One Life at Home, emphasised the importance of an active lifestyle when it comes to old age.

“Staying active can help you maintain a healthy weight, but did you know it’s also proven to help you look younger,” she said.
