B12 deficiency sufferer reveals symptoms on the face

by Universalwellnesssystems

A person who was deficient in vitamin B12 has revealed how “minor” symptoms he experienced over a period of two years progressed to a full-blown deficiency.

This patient’s story illustrates the mystery surrounding the disease, which is estimated to affect about 6 percent of people under 60 and about 20 percent of those over 60.

Vitamin B12 supports everything from red blood cell production to nerve function and DNA synthesis.

Therefore, vitamin deficiencies can cause debilitating effects, some of which are permanent.

Unfortunately, there is no national or international agreement on what constitutes vitamin B12 deficiency, leading to delayed diagnosis and poor treatment outcomes.

One patient revealed how he was overlooked for years before being diagnosed and treated.

“I’ve been suffering from mild symptoms for the last two years, but didn’t realize they were caused by Vitamin B12 until this month,” they said on Reddit.

The patient experienced attacks of “fatigue” and “palpitations” when walking or moving.

The user revealed that these symptoms became more severe when they felt hungry.

These symptoms gradually began to worsen and they “were unable to carry out normal daily activities,” he added.

The Reddit user described feeling exhausted to the point that she “felt like I was going to die and pass out,” as well as facial numbness, body tingling and “internal tremors.”

Furthermore, when you are tired, you feel a pulse “running throughout your body, mainly in your hands, chest, and head.”

The dire patient was eventually diagnosed with vitamin B12 deficiency and prescribed intramuscular injections.

They now feel “much better.”

Treatment for vitamin B12 deficiency depends on the cause of the symptoms.

For most people, missing vitamins can be easily treated with injections or pills.

Despite the proven effectiveness of B12 injections, many people with B12 deficiency have a hard time receiving the injections.

GB News recently exposed an NHS scandal which has deprived millions of people of this groundbreaking treatment during the Covid-19 pandemic.
