Emily DiDonato has lost 25 pounds since giving birth to her second child last year, and now she’s giving insight into how she lost the weight.
The 33-year-old model welcomed son Oliver in April 2023 and shared a video of her post-baby workout results on her Instagram account on Wednesday.
The video recorded DiDonato lifting weights at four and 11 months postpartum. Four months after giving birth, she weighed 175 pounds. But 11 months later, her age had dropped to 150 years.
The Victoria’s Secret model also blamed her weight loss on “11 months of blood, sweat, tears, and boring meals lol” in the caption of her post.
DiDonato shared a series of photos on her Instagram account earlier this month, showing off her love for Oliver and their two-year-old daughter Teddy.
In the snap, the fashion industry celebrity was seen enjoying a day at the beach with her two children.
The model kept her look casual in an oversized gray sweater and black jeans as she took her kids out to the sand.
DiDonato completed her look with white sneakers and a black hat, and her gorgeous brunette hair fell over her shoulders.
She also affectionately referred to her children as “my beach babies” in the post’s caption.
The fashion industry celebrity has two children with her husband, Kyle Peterson, whom she married in 2018.
DiDonato and his spouse started their family with the arrival of Teddy, who was born in November 2021.
The model and her husband welcomed Oliver into their family in April 2023.
The runway regular talked about parenting in a video shared on her TikTok account, saying that her early days as a model prepared her to become a mother.
“As a mother, I think you get a lot of bad advice and unsolicited opinions. I feel like I learned at a young age to take other people’s opinions and ideas at face value,” she said.
DiDonato then said that parents-to-be will receive countless tips on parenting, but they should only pay attention to the most practical advice.
“You get a lot of advice, so you just have to learn to take what works for you, do what works for you, leave the rest alone and roll off your back.” she said.
The model also said that she is making the most of her family life after spending much of her early adulthood traveling the world for work.
“I want to be home and be with my kids, but if I didn’t get that out of my system and see more of the world, I might have felt like I was missing out on something. “I don’t think so,” she said.
