TEHRAN – Following Iran’s health center expansion policy, Iraq has started building health centers to provide basic medical services to its people, said Hani Musa Badr al-Aqabi, Iraq’s Deputy Minister of Health. Ta.

While announcing preparations for joint production of medicines and medical equipment, the prime minister said that many Iraqi doctors and citizens are familiar with Iranian medicines and take them for treatment.
“We have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian Ministry of Health on pharmaceutical production, health tourism and technology transfer. Soon we will observe valuable achievements in these areas,” Al Aqabi said. Stated.
Mr. Einolahi emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in health tourism, medicine, medical devices and healthcare.

Aiming to strengthen health cooperation with Iraq and Iran

Yasser Abdulzahra said, “I am very happy that the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of health and higher education has been signed between the Iranian Ministry of Health and the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Higher Education.”
He made the remarks during a meeting with Health Minister Baharam Einolahi in Tehran.
“While adhering to these agreements, we want to expand cooperation between Iran and Iraq in all fields,” the Iraqi official stressed.
He went on to say that more than 80,000 Iraqi students are studying in Iran, and that more than 40 Iraqi prime ministers attended the Science Week conference held in Mashhad in October 2023. Einolahi said cooperation between Iran and Iraq in the health field should be unlimited.
