In the video, it is recommended not to buy peeled garlic and store it in the refrigerator, as peeled garlic will quickly start to mold. Garlic mold has also been linked to cancer. Be sure to buy unpeeled garlic, peel it only before cooking, and store it outside the refrigerator.

onion
Onions are resistant to low temperatures. When it is refrigerated, the starch begins to convert to sugar and mold begins to form. A common practice is to cut onions in half and store the other half in the refrigerator. Never do that as it will trap all the unhealthy bacteria from the surrounding area and start trapping mold. When someone gets sick at home, we take out onion slices and place them in the corner of the room to collect all the unhealthy bacteria from the environment.
Ginger
Mold begins to grow immediately after refreezing and has been linked to kidney and liver failure. Do not refrigerate.
rice
Because cooked rice is resistant to starch, people have the habit of storing it in the refrigerator, and it is thought to be effective in lowering cholesterol and blood sugar levels. But in reality, rice is one of the foods that molds the fastest and should be kept refrigerated within 24 hours. In the video's caption, she was referring to the British National Health Service and how rice that has been reheated and refrigerated for more than 24 hours can cause food poisoning. The study mentions storing rice in the refrigerator for no more than a day before reheating. It also states that when reheating rice, be sure to make sure steam is rising all the way to the inside. Also, don't reheat the rice too many times.
