The owners of DOMA, Cork & Slice have replaced fast-casual concept Streats in 5 Towns with ANJU, an upscale Asian fusion restaurant that opened this week.
Currently in a soft opening phase with just over a week to go, ANJU is a beautifully designed restaurant offering unique cuisine to the Long Island region.
The menu includes unique Asian salads. Dim sum such as truffle chicken wontons, wagyu beef goyza, and boa buns. Noodle dishes such as grilled ramen and pad thai. Popular apps such as matzo ball ramen and wagyu beef stew with green onion ramen. Robata skewers such as eggplant, rib roast, and shishito peppers. Sides include grilled corn with kabayaki glaze, ange fries with chili peppers, and Chinese broccoli. In addition to specialty sushi such as truffle fatty tuna, double hamachi, and raw oshinko wrapped in soybean paper, you can also enjoy a la carte menu items such as maki, hand rolls, and sushi tacos.
Appetizers include fish dishes such as Chilean sea bass and chargrilled tuna. Meat (braised beef short ribs, veal panko chops, etc.). Grill (Korean-style kalbi kalbi, robatayaki ribeye, etc.). The bar offers a unique selection of mixed drinks, wines and spirits. Dessert options include pineapple pistachio paradise, chocolate Anna wontons, apple pie, sorbet, and ice cream options, as well as dessert martinis, cordials, coffees, and teas.

5 Towns is filled with Chinese and sushi restaurants, but ANJU fills the gap by offering a sophisticated experience with unique food, drinks and service.
The restaurant is located at 128 Cedarhurst Ave., Cedarhurst, NY. ANJU is certified Kosher by the Var of Five Towns.
