To prioritize the mental health of its employees, e-commerce platform Meesho has announced a company-wide 11-day “reset and recharge break” for the second year in a row.
update Posted The initiative aims to allow employees to “disconnect completely from work after a busy festive sale period and prioritize mental health,” the company’s website revealed.
Founder and CTO Sanjeev Barnwal made the announcement on Twitter, emphasizing that a good work-life balance is paramount to good mental health.
“For the second year in a row, we have announced 11 days of company-wide leave! With the upcoming holiday season and the importance of work-life balance in mind, Meeshoites will be taking the necessary leave to reset and recharge starting October 22nd. Until November 1st,” he said.
