What happened to three sensible meals?

The Philadelphia model and influencer has come under fire after posting a video detailing a highly unusual diet that allows her to eat a whopping 3,000 calories in just over three hours each day.

Many people were quick to question the method, but 22-year-old Elizabeth Seibert said the diet was recommended by “many experts” and has been linked to eating disorders, depression and acne. After years of fighting, she claimed she was feeling “better than ever.”

in the video Posted on YouTube, Seibert explained to viewers what they eat in a day. She continues on a short, high-fat diet from 9:30 to 1:00 pm in the morning, and then quits.

Every morning, Seibert greets her with a 4-ounce ground beef patty cooked in a large amount of butter, topped with 1.5 ounces of cheddar cheese, kimchi, lettuce and a fried egg. This equates to about 670 calories.

She clears it up with a cup of coffee with 11 ounces of heavy cream. This adds another 1,100 calories. Seibert finished her breakfast by swallowing 32 vitamins, explaining that she was “deficient in many nutrients.”

At 11:30 a.m., young models have their second meal of the day, a bowl of yogurt topped with “probiotic-enhanced kefir,” fresh fruit, almonds, and hemp seeds. She estimates this snack equals her 390 calories.

An hour later, she sips a cup of soup with 2 ounces of beef tallow and 2 ounces of cheddar cheese. This measures 730 calories.

Saybert munches on a small snack of berries and cheddar cheese at 1:00 p.m. for his last meal of the day.

“Importantly, I am doing this under the supervision of numerous professionals, so please do not take this as medical advice,” she said in the video.

She claimed she has been on a “medical diet” for seven months now, has been able to “get off all drugs” and feels very “better”.

Seibert-age women should consume between 2,000 and 2,400 calories per day, depending on their lifestyle. According to a chart provided by the Cleveland Clinic.

The 22-year-old eats just under 3,000 calories between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and eats nothing the rest of the time.

Seibert’s routine should not be confused with the more popular three-hour diet, which instructs dieters to eat small amounts of food every three hours.

General viewers and nutrition experts alike were blown away by Seibert’s daily menu. Many immediately questioned the safety of her eating habits, especially after Seibert revealed she had an eating disorder.

Abby Sharp, Registered Dietitian (RD) A popular food and nutrition blogger responded to Seibert’s video on TikTokcalled an extreme intermittent fasting diet of less than 3,000 calories a “recipe for disaster,” claiming that the meal plan would make it “impossible to meet nutritional needs.”

“I don’t know how any legitimate health care provider would recommend such a low-calorie diet surviving on pills and fat alone,” she says.

A 2022 study found that videos like Seibert’s promote a “toxic” diet culture.

Scientists have found that most of the diet advice on the platform comes from young white female influencers, not experts.

These influencers were talked about as attractive or charismatic, but were not qualified to give “nutrition” advice, the study said.

“Every day, millions of teens and young adults are exposed to content that paints highly unrealistic and inaccurate images of food, nutrition and health,” said Lizzie Pope, Ph. It’s available on TikTok,” he said. Vermont, who led the study, told the Post.

Earlier this month, a 39-year-old vegan TikTok influencer from Russia who promoted a diet consisting entirely of exotic fruits starved to death in Southeast Asia, according to reports.
