Kesha talks candidly about how her commitment to her ‘spiritual’ has helped her with her extreme anxiety.
while chatting with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, The ‘Tik Tok’ singer revealed that she used to have so much anxiety that she thought she was going to be ‘psychopathic’.
“I had this insane psychedelic spiritual experience in the midst of anxiety…it was pure anxiety,” the 36-year-old said. “My brain felt like … I thought maybe this was a process of psychosis or something.”
She described the feeling as a chilling “complete psychedelic trip” on her new album, Gag Order.
But it wasn’t until she “started to lean” into those feelings and decided to actually deal with the problem that she found peace through spirituality.
“I’m a triple Pisces and I love the weird, the inexplicable, the spiritual and the supernatural,” she explained.
“So after this happened to me, I was totally depressed. This is the rabbit hole I’m in right now, just paranormal, different mentality, even different things people believe.” Yes, I’m just reading about it, and I feel like we’re all talking about similar things.”
Kesha — who Hosts a spooky podcast called “Kesha and the Creepies” — became known for her Love for the paranormal and paranormal.

In fact, the diva once said She feels “a cosmic connection between my soul and something greater” when making music.
She was able to turn these feelings into another song on the album, “Happy”. In this hit, “Praying,” she finally reveals her desire to feel free.
“It’s just about wanting to be happy and letting go. I want to be free,” she told Lowe. “I want to trust the process, the universe, all of that.”
“And I feel like I can’t be my child. So there’s this element of growing up,” the Grammy nominee added.
“And this album perfectly documents the time when I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to have to deal with some difficulties, and I’m just going to have to go through it, and it’s going to be really uncomfortable. And I feel like it really helped me grow as a woman, and you know, you hear it all on the album.”
