The Beverly Hills Beauty claims the cookie blend helped her lose 15 pounds in 60 days, but one nutritionist claims it’s not a “one-stop weight loss solution.”

The newspaper reached out to Karunakaran and a nutritionist for comment.

Designed for weight management in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol, Ozempic has become Hollywood’s most sought-after rapid weight loss drug.

However, some patients have reported serious side effects from the fast-acting injection, such as loose skin where there was fat.

“Ozempic is a zero-calorie GLP-1, which means it synthetically releases high, high, high amounts of GLP-1 to make you feel full without eating anything. It creates a huge calorie deficit,” Karunakaran explained.

“The claim that this cookie dough is equivalent to Ozempic is dangerously misleading…” the outlet quoted a rep as saying.

“Using this recipe as a weight loss ‘cure’ can lead to an unbalanced diet, which can lead to vitamin and mineral deficiencies if the diet is not comprehensive.”
