A shopper recently reached out to Aldi on Twitter after being unable to find gluten-free bread or gluten-free bagels at his local store for three weeks.

“Why?” they asked.

Aldi replied, “I hate to give you bad news, but gluten-free bagels have been discontinued.”

The customer objected. “That’s just plain wrong.”

In another tweet, the complaint continues: Call them off…then there’s no reason to go to Aldi’s. ”

However, Aldi confirmed that gluten-free bread is still available and is being restocked at angry customers’ local stores.

Aldi previously sold LiveGFree branded bagels in three flavors: all, cinnamon, or plain.

The LiveGFree brand offers 17 gluten-free items, from bread to pasta, but bagels are no longer part of the line-up.

And gluten-free bagels aren’t the only product Aldi has recently discontinued.

Other discontinued products

Earlier this week, Aldi confirmed that the Vista Bay Margarita Hard Seltzer was shelved for good.

Other flavors are still available, including black cherry, lime, ruby grapefruit, and raspberry, although fans say “taste a few of the rest.”

Fremont Fish Market brand parmesan-crusted tilapia fillets have also disappeared completely from shelves, the store confirmed.

In the Aldi Finds aisle, the grocery store is making some big changes.

This week, Aldi released a new line of women’s summer dresses to match the mini-me girls dresses.

The store announced the new product by tweeting, “Only the atmosphere of spring.”

The dress is available in three designs: green floral print, navy floral print, and solid dusky pink.

Women’s dresses are $12.99 and girls’ dresses are $9.99.

Aldi also announced two new desserts starting at $4. Fans say it’s delicious.
