Muelle 37, at 511 N. Alamo Road in the Alamo, has a perfect inspection report for January 31 at its Que Rico restaurant this week.
Muelle 37’s manager, Jennifer Ocgueda, was a little camera shy, but everyone smiled when they saw the top performer sticker on the restaurant’s front door.
The food patrol put a sticker on the door and took some pictures with a promise to uphold the Food 4 Thought mission of “Keeping It Clean.”

The BBQ spot is smoking after some issues were found based on food patrol health inspection reports.

Violations to the report included employees not having permission to serve or cook food, ketchup in cans that had to be thrown, paper towels that had to be provided in the hand sink, and preparation labels missing. said.

Food Patrol has noticed that many of the violations in the inspection report have not been remedied.

Food patrols also paid attention to personal food in workplace refrigerators, risking potential cross-contamination and customer illness.
An employee told Food Patrol that the leftovers on top of the charo beans belonged to the owner.
The restaurant staff we spoke with obtained a permit to handle the food and were re-inspected earlier this month.
