Alabama Healthcare Consumer Alliance(the Alliance), is an organization of public and private employers focused on providing affordable, quality, accessible, and sustainable healthcare environments for businesses throughout Alabama. and appointed Robin Stone as Executive Director.
Formed in 2022, the Alliance represents a diverse group of public and private organizations that provide health care benefits to more than 3 million employees and families in every corner of Alabama.
“The purpose of the Alliance is to actively and constructively engage in policy and legislative debates on issues that specifically affect employers’ ability to provide and maintain affordable health care benefits for their employees and families. ‘, said Taylor Williams on behalf of the Alliance Board of Directors. “We will actively communicate with legislators and policymakers to ensure that they are informed of the impact their decisions will have on employers of all kinds, large and small.”

His extensive experience in state government makes him uniquely qualified to lead the Alliance,” Williams added.
Most recently, Stone headed the Business Council of Alabama, the state’s largest and most diverse business sector business organization. Prior to BCA, he oversaw government affairs for the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. He served as Director of Legislative Affairs in Governor Bob Riley’s Cabinet and has also held a series of executive positions at Boeing in Huntsville, Alabama. Seattle, Washington. Stone is also president of The Robin Stone Company, a public and government company.
