Can’t decide which workout class to sign up for? Well, this might help you decide when to move.

Scientists believe they have discovered the perfect time to exercise to burn fat.

A study recently published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences A peer-reviewed journal found that morning exercise can boost fat metabolism.

Researchers at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark studied two groups of mice that underwent high-intensity exercise in the morning and evening.

Almost every cell in the body and its biological processes depend on circadian rhythms, so exercising at different times of the day can affect the body in different ways.

The researchers analyzed biological processes and various markers of fat metabolism in both groups of mice to see how the body responded to physical activity.

They found that mice that exercised in the morning on an empty stomach had a higher metabolic rate than those that exercised in the evening.

“Our results suggest that late-night exercise may be more effective than late-night exercise in terms of boosting metabolism and burning fat. It may prove to be of value to too many people,” said Professor Julien, R. Zierath of the Karolinska Institutet’s Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery and Physiology and Pharmacology.

Exercise offers a wide range of benefits, including improved brain health, reduced disease risk, stronger bones and muscles, and healthy weight management.

of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Adults are advised to do 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of strength-strengthening activity per week, but no recommendations are made as to when to exercise during the day.

“Appropriate timing appears to be important for improving the body’s energy balance and the health benefits of exercise, but it is difficult to draw reliable conclusions about our findings and their relevance to humans. , more research is needed.

Once you’ve signed up for your morning workout class, you should stick with it. Previous research has shown that more effective training can be achieved by exercising at the same time of day.

Researchers at Brown University’s Warren Alpert School of Medicine found that people who worked out at the same times during the day worked more hours per week than those who worked out at random times during the day. I discovered that I spend a lot of time outdoors.

But whether you’re an early riser, a night owl, or someone looking for a change of pace, the most important thing is to get yourself moving.
