SINGAPORE – The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Response Team reported on Monday morning that nine students felt unwell after a physical fitness test at the College East campus of the Institute of Technology and Education (ITE). Hazardous materials teams and fire engines were dispatched to conduct surveillance and tests in the vicinity, but no anomalies were detected in the surrounding environment, according to the SCDF.
In response to questions from ST, ITE College East Principal Yek Tiew Ming said that as of 8:40 p.m., eight students had been discharged and the rest were in stable condition and awaiting discharge. rice field.
