Authorities on Thursday asked for the public’s help in locating a missing 30-year-old depressed man who was last seen in La Cañada Flintridge.
Chinmay Nilesh Bhoot was last seen Saturday in the 4500 block of Indiana Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies described Boot as a man 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. When he was last seen, he was wearing a white hat, red shirt, and dark shorts.
The sheriff’s department said Boot suffers from depression and his family is concerned for his well-being.
Anyone with information on Boot’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers at 800-222-8477.
