In a video on Tiktok, the 23-year-old content creator revealed that he had two or three eggs for breakfast, high-protein yogurt for lunch and New York strip steak for dinner. Her doctors noticed high levels of protein in the urine during their annual examination, but she didn’t think about it much.

“I literally woke up one day and peeed straight blood,” Eve explained that she was given morphine in the hospital and later passed a kidney stone. She attributed her symptoms to excessive protein intake.

Experts warn of high protein diets

According to Mayo Clinic, too much protein can be harmful, especially for people with kidney disease, as it affects the way the body removes protein waste.

Furthermore, a high protein diet often lacks sufficient fiber, which can lead to problems like constipation, headaches, and bad breath. A diet high in saturated fat in lean meat can increase your risk of heart disease.

Eve, who previously admitted to being “protein-dreaming,” criticized the restrictive diet, saying “carnivorous food is very stupid.”

Carnivore Diet’s growing controversy

Carnivorous diets are popular on social media, and many influencers are driving their benefits. This meal consists primarily of beef, chicken, fish, pork and other animal products, and is not even approved by podcaster Joe Logan.

Previously, another content creator went to Instagram and shared, “Carnivore Diet has destroyed my kidneys!!”

However, health experts have warned of potential risks, including the risk of kidney stones. Kidney stones are deposits that are extremely painful to pass on. Some researchers also describe this diet as inflammatory and pro-aging, warning that it is something like “playing on fire” according to such extreme food restrictions.

While some social media users have rejected Eb Katherine’s fear of health, others have praised her for raising awareness of the risks associated with extreme dieting.

I urge her followers to be careful, saying, “Don’t eat too much protein, okay. Don’t ignore your fiber intake.”
