Few bodybuilding shows can match the prestige of the Arnold Classic. Co-founded in 1989 by Jim Lorimer and his seven-time Mr. Olympian Arnold Schwarzenegger, the competition has expanded from a single bodybuilding show to include seven different divisions.
The 2024 Arnold Classic will be held in Columbus, Ohio, the competition’s home for 35 years. The action is a super-exhibition event for fitness enthusiasts, including powerlifting, weightlifting and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions, a trade show with hundreds of vendors, and the iconic Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic. It takes place at the Arnold Sports Festival.

2024 Fitness International Results
After the Fiji Round, the 2024 Fitness International seemed to be Jaclyn Baker’s time in the spotlight. The fitness competition is known for being judged in two rounds: physique and routine.
Fiji rounds only count one-third of each athlete’s overall score. The remaining two-thirds will be decided in the routine round. This gave two-time defending champion Ariel Kadr the advantage as he closed the gap in the Fiji round and won his third consecutive Fitness International title.

2024 Wellness International Results
For the past two years, Wellness International has been expected to be a head-to-head showdown between the top two players in the division. Franciel Mattos is his three-time Wellness Olympia winner and the only Olympia winner in the division since its creation.
Matos was aiming to dethrone defending Wellness International Champion Isabel Pereira Nunez, who was one point away from taking the Olympia title from Matos in 2023. After two relatively quick decision losses in the final on March 1, 2024, Mattos won the title alongside Nunes. Place of runner-up.

2024 Arnold Classic Physique Results
In the biggest upset of the Arnold Classic competition to date, Wesley Vissers has been inducted into the Arnold Classic Physique Champions Hall of Fame. Vissers, who had not finished on the podium at either the Olympia or the Arnold, raced toward the top of his division.
Vissers dethroned defending Arnold Classic Physique champion Ramon Rocha Kelios, who has been ranked runner-up to five-time Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead for the past two years. This controversial upset sets the stage for his 2024 Classic Physique at the Olympia, where the number of contenders vying for Bumstead’s crown has objectively increased.
